EMF Safety by Design
More and more people today experience sensitivity to electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs), which are commonly emitted by cell towers, smartphones, and Wi-Fi networks. When we designed the SeaPod, our vision for the smartest and most sustainable home on the ocean, EMF safety was a key priority. Living on water naturally reduces exposure to dense urban EMF radiation, and we took it a step further by building a low-EMF smart-home system for added peace of mind.
Wired for Wellness
SeaPods use EMF-shielded wiring to connect all sensors and devices, avoiding the constant wireless signals used in typical smart homes. The only wireless system onboard is Wi-Fi, which can be set to shut off automatically at scheduled times. For complete control, every room is also equipped with Ethernet ports—offering a fully wired, low-radiation environment for those who prefer it.
