As the minutes ticked down to this monumental milestone, the excitement was palpable. Ten minutes before hitting the 100-day mark, Grant playfully asked Rudy, “Do you think you’ll make it?” Rudy’s witty response? “I like it here; I think I’ll stay a bit longer.”
Even Goustafa, the friendly snapper who has become a regular visitor during Rudy’s underwater stay, joined in the celebrations. Spirits soared as the team toasted to this incredible achievement with a glass of Flor de Caña 25-year-old rum, a thoughtful gift from friends that perfectly matched the significance of the occasion.
