On January 24, 2025, Ocean Builders will host a historic event at Linton Bay Marina, Panama, to celebrate Rüdiger “Rudy” Koch’s remarkable achievement of living 120 days under water in the SeaPod’s Underwater Room, situated 11 meters below the surface.

This endeavor will not only establish a new Guinness World Record but also underscores the feasibility of sustainable oceanic habitation.

This Friday, guests will travel from Panama City to Linton Bay Marina to witness a historic moment at 12:02 PM, as Rudy emerges from his Deepwater SeaPod after 120 days underwater.

While Rudy refreshes up, attendees can explore the stunning Canales Cristalinos and Love Canal, experiencing the serene beauty of Colon, Panama.

The celebration continues with an award ceremony, featuring an Afro-Caribbean Congo Dance Show to add a vibrant cultural touch. Speeches by CEO, Grant Romundt and Ocean Builders President, Rüdiger Koch will offer insights into this remarkable achievement. Following the speeches, the official Guinness World Record will be presented, and a celebratory toast will be made.

A Q&A session with refreshments will allow guests and journalists to interact with the team. The event concludes with closing remarks and the distribution of eco-friendly Ocean Living Gift sets as a token of appreciation.
