April 8th was a special day for everyone here at Ocean Builders as we celebrated our CEO Grant hitting the Big 5-0. We had a small celebration here in Panama for his birthday. The celebration included a traditional Panamanian show with local performers giving us a performance that included traditional music and dances. We had 17 dancers and five musicians who gave us a great show and even got Grant to do a little dancing as well.
The night also included a private tour of a local zoo and a fantastic spread of tropical food that is traditional to the area. We had a great night with the always interesting traditional dance performance, good food, and most importantly… great friends. The whole team, especially Grant, works incredibly hard so it was great to take a night and celebrate Grant on his 50th birthday.
As always, we are doing research in everything we do, even a birthday party. So this was sort of a practice run or warm-up event for our grand opening celebration which we are getting very excited for. We are moving steadily toward our official grand opening so be sure to stay tuned to the blog for more updates about our progress and a look into what goes on in the Ocean Builders world!
