Hello everyone! Welcome to the SeaPod. Welcome to Pod Life. As I enjoy this beautiful afternoon, I’ve received an inquiry about whether the SeaPod could serve as a workspace for digital nomads.

Let me tell you, the answer is a resounding yes! Allow me to share my personal experience of thriving as a digital nomad in the SeaPod, where creativity meets connectivity in the most extraordinary way.

I’ve always been drawn to the idea of living as a digital nomad. I’ve had a knack for technology since I can remember, and back in 1996, I made the news with what was dubbed the “most advanced digital paperless office.”

Fast forward to today, and I find myself living out my dream in the SeaPod, equipped with a Starlink satellite on the roof. I recently conducted a live test of our internet speed, which ranged from 130 to 183 megabits download, with consistent upload speeds around 11 to 16 megabits per second. Considering we’re out at sea, that’s pretty good!

Starlink, SpaceX’s satellite internet system, is changing the game for maritime connectivity. I can now have high-speed internet access even in the most remote ocean locations. This tech keeps me connected, gives me access to real-time info, and lets me run my business smoothly while out at sea. Plus, I can easily do live streams and video calls, no matter how many camera angles I need.

The creative freedom and inspiration that come from working in such a breathtaking environment are unmatched. Surrounded by beauty and free from distractions, I can truly focus and accomplish my goals. Living as a digital nomad isn’t just a lifestyle, it’s a journey of exploration, connectivity, and creativity.
