Today, I’m thrilled to give you a glimpse into my new office setup. An oasis of productivity and inspiration floating gently on the water.
Previously stationed at Linton Bay Marina, just about a mile away, my office has undergone a transformation. Now perched on the water’s edge at Linton Island, the spectacular views that greet me each day are nothing short of breathtaking. From sunrise to sunset, the beauty that surrounds me fuels my imagination and sets the stage for a day of inspired work. Let’s talk about my workspace, it’s not your average office setup. With a standing desk that can be easily adjusted to suit my preference, I have the flexibility to work comfortably whether sitting or standing. Embracing the benefits of standing for part of the day, I find it not only keeps me more active but also boosts productivity. In the afternoons, when the sun’s rays stream in, I make use of blackout blinds to create the perfect lighting conditions. It’s amazing how a subtle adjustment can make all the difference in maintaining focus and comfort throughout the day. Equipped with dual screens, an iPad, and all the essentials for seamless communication, my workspace is designed for efficiency. A carefully curated selection of gadgets, from a magnetic iPhone charger to a high-quality microphone, ensures that every aspect of my workday is covered. In the next version of the SeaPod, we’re introducing an integrated table that will serve multiple purposes. Whether it’s a cozy dinner for two or a brainstorming session with colleagues, this versatile addition promises to elevate the Seapod experience even further. As we continue to innovate and refine our floating habitats, I’m thrilled to see what the future holds. From AI workstations to cutting-edge design studios, the possibilities are endless.
