We come to you today with some very important news that affects our mission as well as the people of Panama – Panama has passed Crypto Bill 697 which is a major cryptocurrency bill that opens the door to allow cryptocurrency to be used for public and private transactions and investments in the country.
The bill allows the people of Panama to easily use cryptocurrencies in their everyday lives. From paying your taxes to buying lunch, This bill allows the footing for crypto to become commonplace in Panama. It will bring new payment systems and allow payments to be made in cryptocurrency for basically anything that is legal to buy or pay for in Panama.
This news is huge for us here at Ocean Builders. Firstly, many of our followers around the world are big crypto supporters. There are quite a few parallels between the cryptocurrency world and our mission. Much like our homes that don’t rely on the local grids and systems, cryptocurrency can act as sort of a universal currency that doesn’t rely on or isn’t tied to one government.
We hope to one day be able to have our customers pay us in cryptocurrency and we want to be able to pay our employees and our suppliers with crypto. A fully crypto-enabled world is still quite far away, but we are making great progress toward it pretty regularly and hopefully, we will live in a society where cryptocurrency is the currency of the people very very soon. This is a great step in the right direction!
