We are thrilled to share that Ocean Builders, a pioneering force in innovative floating homes, is embarking on the next leg of its journey.
Having successfully wrapped up Phase 1 of development, which saw the creation of 3 Prototype models at our R&D facility in Panama, we’re now diving headfirst into Phase 2 with unwavering determination and excitement.
Phase 2 marks another significant milestone for Ocean Builders as we prepare to deliver Pods to individuals worldwide who have eagerly reserved them. Central to this phase is the modularization of the EcoPod, a task meticulously planned for some time. Our team is fully committed to ensuring that each component is expertly crafted and seamlessly integrated. As we transition into this next phase, we are establishing a comprehensive supply chain for every component and enlisting the expertise of professionals across multiple fields, including HVAC systems, renewable energy solutions and advanced wastewater systems. Our goal is to produce a top-notch product that can be manufactured cost-effectively, delivered, and assembled anywhere on-site.
While this next phase brings a wealth of exciting opportunities, it also calls for change. Our factory that has been our home for the past five years has served us admirably by producing one prototype at a time. For the future, we will use it for the assembly of SeaPods and GreenPods as well as R&D. Our lofty goals of scaling production to meet demand require us to be open-minded to new options for mass manufacturing in a cost-effective manner. We will announce more on this as soon as we can.
As one chapter gracefully draws to a close, another eagerly awaits to be written. Our unwavering commitment to revolutionizing coastal living remains steadfast, and we’re profoundly grateful for the unwavering support of our community every step of the way. To showcase our innovative floating homes, we will soon announce upcoming Open House events scheduled for June. Here, attendees will have the opportunity to experience all three of the SeaPods currently floating in the Caribbean waters of Panama.
