The EcoPod is all painted and ready to go. We have the window frames installed and now it is time to get it mounted on the TriPod base that we put into the water. Today we are taking care of a few things that we want to do before the Pod goes on the water.
Once the EcoPod is floating, it will be harder to get supplies to the home to continue work. Heavy things like the window panes are difficult and potentially dangerous to try and lift into the home from the dock. We are pre-loading the windows and other heavy items into the Pod before we lift it so that everything will already be out there when we are ready to install them.
The progress is coming along incredibly well and the exterior and interior of the EcoPod are looking great. Things are really coming together and it can be a little bit emotional to see all of our work over the years come to life. The windows will be going in once the Pod is on the water and then we will be closer than ever to the finish line!
